Andre Favors
Born in Griffin, GA, Coach Favors played HS basketball at Griffin HS. He won the 1988 Georgia Boys 6AAAA State Basketball championship. Coach Favors was a McDonald's All American candidate and was in USA Today Top 100 players in 1988. Coach
Favors played college basketball at Garden City Community College in Garden City, KS from 1990 -
1992. The 1991-1992 Team was ranked #1 in the country. The 1991-1992 Team is considered
the best team Garden City Community College has ever had.
Coach Favors has previously coach at
all levels from Youth, AAU, High School, Post Graduate, College and professionally ABA. Andre coached at Brown Mackie College for three seasons -- one as a men's assistant coach during the 2004-05
season, then two as women's head coach from 2005-07. Won 2005 NJCAA Men's Basketball
Championship with Brown Mackie College. Coach Favors was the Head Coach of the Salina Saints of the ABA Professional Basketball League. During his 2 seasons his team went undefeated in the regular season and ranked in the top 5; only lost was in a playoff game.
Basketball is Coach Favors love and gift
from God. He is Married to Bridget Favors and they have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

Mercedes Lover
Born in Tulsa, OK, Coach Lover played HS basketball in Houston, TX. She began her collegiate level basketball career at Brown Mackie College with Coach Andre Favors as her coach. Later she transferred to Jarvis Christian College NAIA D1, where she was ranked top 3 in assist to turnover ratio at the NAIA D1 Level. After a major injury, Coach Lover transferred to TSU, were she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice. After graduating college, she enlisted into the United States Navy, serving 4 years. During her time in the Navy, she received several awards for her exceptional work and dedication in performing her duties at the highest level possible.
Coach Lover was honorably discharged after serving her contract. Once she returned to Houston, TX she began her basketball coaching career. She has coached and personally trained at the levels of Youth, AAU, Homeschool, Highschool, and Post Graduate.
Her love for the youth and community and passion for basketball is what God has instilled in her. She has a daughter who is the light of her world and hundreds of children that she treat as her own. "God First, Family, Education, Basketball."
